For the upcoming academic year, from September 2024 to November 2025, we're seeking enthusiastic individuals to become teaching assistants (TA) for the MSc course, Supply Chain Decision Analytics.

Job description

As a TA for the core course in the Supply Chain Management master programme, you provide a basic introduction to Linear Programming and Integer programming.

With your basic knowledge of linear and/or integer programming, you:

• grade assignments and exams online; and
• assist during workshops.

Job requirements

For this job, this is what we need from you:

• Registered as a student for at least the 2024-2025 academic year, with a longer commitment appreciated.
• Fluency in English.
• Can work efficiently and effectively online.
• Physical availability in Rotterdam because workshops take place on campus.

Employment conditions and benefits

• A 3-month EURFlex contract to ensure that you're fairly compensated for your time, which also includes your time spent preparing, hosting, and following up on training sessions.
• As of autumn 2023, the gross hourly rate was between €15.87 and €15.90 for second- and third-year students, and €17.24 and €17.28 for fourth-year students and master students.

NOTE: Because the collective labour agreement is renewed in August, the above rates will likely rise.
